Ted Tokio Tanaka Architects is seeking a motivated and talented Project Leader - Job Captain to join our Architectural Studio in Los Angeles on the Westside. Our studio offers a team-oriented approach towards creating inventive and responsive solutions to our clients’ program needs through integrated services in urban design, building design and transportation networks. Our work is diverse and includes residential, commercial, institutional and transit-oriented projects.
Project leader - Job captain level staff in a licensing process
Take a role of a project leader - job captain under project architect’s direction leading the project design team interfacing with other design and engineering disciplines
Good design ability to meet clients’ program requirements
Experience in Fixed Guiderail Transit Station design is a plus and in large multi-discipline commercial or institutional projects
Proficient in BIM – Revit/AutoCAD
Experience in SD, DD, CD and Contract Administration phases
Technical knowledge of code and other ordinances, such as CBC, NFPA and ADA
Ability to work with a multi-discipline design and engineering team
Capability of technical communication skills to engage in coordination with other disciplines
Ability to lead the project under project architect’s and project manager’s directions
