| Job Description / Primary Objective * |
Licensed California Civil Engineer, with emphasis on grading and utilities, to work on developing grading and drainage, LID/stormwater, power and water company, sewer and storm drain utilities, and final design level drawings.
Basic responsibilities include:
• Assist in Engineering Department to design and review calculations and construction plans for new pipeline improvements and water production, treatment, storage and distribution facilities.
• Other assignments as necessary.
Experience in the following areas:
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation/InRoads
• Must have knowledge of civil design concepts, with specific emphasis on grading, water, sewer, and storm drain design
• Design of site, street, fencing, retaining wall and grading improvements, hydrology, storm water quality and Low Impact Development BMP’s
• Linear underground utilities, including water, sanitary sewer and storm drain pipeline improvements
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Self-motivated individual, with ability to multi-task |
