Requirements (Education, Level of Experience, etc.) |
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a closely related field is required (Experience may substitute for education)
5- 15 years of experience in Management of multiple construction projects; experience within a large Capital Improvement program and familiarity with relevant Public Codes is required
2-7 years of experience in Educational Facility Construction is preferred
Experience in alternative delivery method is preferred
Experience with using a web-based project management system such as Proliance is preferred
Experience in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS) is preferred
Experience in Formal Construction Partnering is preferred
Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes or similar is strongly preferred
Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge of all parts of the project life cycle, to include master planning, design and closeout is needed |
