      Job Summary 
       
      AECOM has an immediate opening in our Orange, CA office for a creative, highly talented Project Manager in our Water Group. The ideal candidate is a leader in water infrastructure engineering. Projects include: pipelines, pump stations, water resources, dams, reservoirs, water treatment, wastewater treatment, collections, storage, conveyance, distribution, hydraulics, hydrology, groundwater, reclaimed water, storm water, modeling, planning, operations and maintenance. 
       
      Responsibilities include: 
       
      Project management of projects for Water Group, including wastewater, water, and water resources related projects. 
      Learns and implements AECOM’s project management systems and requirements. 
      Interacts with Clients to deliver project work and to market for future work. 
      Mentors project team staff. 
      Delivers projects in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.

      Requirements (Education, Level of Experience, etc.)
  | 
      Minimum Requirements 
       
      Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 
       
      10+ years of experience relevant to municipal or private sector water/wastewater/water resources 
       
      Must possess a valid driver’s license 
       
      Professional Engineer in California or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire 
       
      Proven Project Management experience 
       
      Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver on time and within budget 
       
      Strong written and verbal communication skills 
       
      Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
       
      Knowledge of local codes, development processes, and utility regulations 
       
      Demonstrated ability to work with clients to provide long-term solutions and maintain/develop strong client relationships 
       
      Provide leadership and technical guidance in his/her area of expertise related to water/wastewater/water resources 
       
       
      Preferred Qualifications 
       
      Good understanding of local and regional markets and able to support marketing effort in pursuing work 
       
      Experience or interest in business operations and internal finance 
       
      Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
