    Job Description / Primary Objective Gruen Associates is an award-winning Los Angeles architectural, planning and landscape design firm with a diverse and extensive portfolio of projects. Our depth of experience provides support and mentoring for our staff members, while our passion for innovation encourages creativity in a broad range of building types.
    We are looking for accomplished full-time candidates with experience in commercial building types. Qualified candidates should be familiar with the building type, technologies, and applicable codes, able to work effectively as part of an overall design team, and be proficient in Revit and other 3-D software programs. Staff members work closely with senior staff and principles on each project from schematic design through construction administration. People with initiative and the willingness to push themselves and take responsibility are ideal candidates.     Requirements (Education, Level of Experience, etc.)
    Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:
    • Degree in Architecture
    • Candidate on the path to architectural licensure. Licensed architects in the State of CA a plus.
    • Must be an excellent problem solver and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in their work
    • Should have solid understanding of building codes and experience with putting together construction documents
    • Should be highly organized and able to coordinate project information & documents
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other software programs.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
