    We are currently seeking an experienced Urban Designer to join our San Francisco studio and work on a variety of public and private sector projects.

    You’ll have significant involvement in our projects on mainland China, so we’re looking for someone with both English and Mandarin language skills. You should also be registered as an Architect in California.

    About the role

    As an Architect with Hassell in our San Francisco studio, you’ll leverage your prior experience and passion for design to actively contribute to a variety of projects across a range of sectors in the US, Asia and Australia.

    You’ll be responsible for supporting the team and design process from the generation of spatial and material concepts to design development and documentation using Revit and Rhino.

    Requirements (Education, Level of Experience, etc.)
    We are looking for an Architect who is a talented, focussed and driven with a passion for designing places people love.

    You should also have:

    A strong understanding and interest in architecture practise commensurate with 4 years’ experience
    Well-rounded design and documentation skills
    Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and Adobe Suite
    An appropriate tertiary qualification in Architecture and registration as an Architect in the state of California
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mandarin language skills advantageous but not a pre-requisite.
