    Job Description / Primary Objective *

    Manage field operations from project start-up to close-out, with overall responsibility for budget, safety, scheduling, and team development of the project, with an eye to meeting customer expectations and in keeping with Bernards’ standards of excellence on the jobsite. Motivate teams and lead by example, cultivate an atmosphere of trust so that difficult decisions can be made, execute project details in balance with the goals of the “end game,” possess strategic and even peripheral vision for the project, and anticipate and correctly mitigate obstacles to meet client's budget, schedule, and functional objectives.

    Requirements (Education, Level of Experience, etc.) *
    10+ years experience in general building construction of significant $50 million-plus mixed-use/multi-family projects in California.

    Excellent interpersonal skills in managing a project team and interfacing with customers.
